THE MAGAZIN "TURKOMANS"

"Turkomans" is political monthly, the publication of Association of Political Scientist of Turkmenistan. It is tailored to an elite political and scholarly audiense representatives of international organizations and independet experts and observers of the political, economic and socio-cultural development of Turkmenistan. The journal draws information from opinion polls, experts and public opinion, monitoring the Turkmen press, the archives of the Central Committec of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the publisations of the political and spiritual opposition living in Turkmenistan, ethno-geographic research, and the previously unpublished writings of observers from Turkmenistan and other sources.

Der Almanach "Turkmenen", eine politologische Monatsschrift in russisch, ist das Presseorgan der Assoziation der Politologen Turkmenistans, das sowhol an das elitre politische und humanitren Hochschulen, Vertreter internationaler Organisationen und Diplomaten. In der Zeitschrift wird der Standpunkt unabhndiider Exsreten auf Probleme der politischen, okonomischen und sozial-kulturellen Entwicklung des neuen Turkmenistans widerspieg elt. Quellengrundlage des Almanachs ist Monitoring der turkmenischen Presse, sociologische Express-Umfragen von Experten und von ffentlicher Meinung, Archive des ZK der KPdSU, Verffentlichungen der Vertreter der politischen und geistigen Opposition, die in Turkmenistan leben, fruher unbekannte ethnographische Forschungen, Postkorrespondenz von Beobachtern aus Turkmenistan u.a.m.
